Well, it has been some time since I have blogged anything and also since I’ve played me some EVE Online<\/a>.\u00a0 Most make the joke of, “Oh! That Excel game with a GUI!”\u00a0 It is pretty bad, but I do not know if it is that bad.\u00a0 They’ve expanded much since the days of just needing an Excel spreadsheet to calculate mining yields and seemingly done pretty well in the latest expansion.\u00a0 What ever could that be Flux?\u00a0 Well, this time… THARRR BE WORMHOLES!\u00a0 No really, wormholes.\u00a0 Anomolies in space that could take you to a random point in known or unknown space.\u00a0 Found my first!\u00a0 Pic or it didn’t happen!<\/p>\n

…what?\u00a0 Would Flux ever lie.\u00a0Fuck you.\u00a0K162 ftw! Ooooh don’t get all emo, you’ll find one someday.\u00a0 Actually, this one wasn’t very exciting or hard to find.\u00a0 Using it caused me to travel 10 jumps in a single instant.\u00a0 I could see how finding one and using it to escape might be interesting.\u00a0 I like the fact that there are a lot more things to be found by scanning, makes for a much more interesting event.\u00a0 And as\u00a0Forest Gump said, ya nevah know what you’re gonna geyat.\u00a0 There is a lot more going on in that game then there was before and worth getting back into it if you are a previous player or new.\u00a0 New player?\u00a0 They just revamped the NPE as it is called.\u00a0 New Player Experience for those who hate acronyms, o\/<\/p>\n

Also, picked up a nice Dell Studio XPS 13.\u00a0 It’s pretty much pimp on silicon.\u00a0 Backlit keys(haha, fuck you Apple!), independant video and leather would be the key features.\u00a0 Did I mention DDR3 RAM?\u00a0 No I did not.\u00a0 Also, the 13.3″ screen is pretty key in my book, since I do not like hauling around 15-17″ laptops.\u00a0 Anyway, check it out<\/a> if you want to know more.\u00a0 Very excited about this purchase.\u00a0 I know what you’re thinking.\u00a0 “What the fuck is an HP fanboy buying a Dell for anyway?”\u00a0 Well, the day HP comes out with a backlit key laptop, is the day I dump off this one and buy it!\u00a0 Ok, maybe not, depends on how rich I get in the next few months(not very likely).<\/p>\n

Lets see, what else is new.\u00a0 Ah snap!\u00a0 Almost forgot! Kevin Rose<\/a> and Alex Albrecht<\/a> were on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon<\/a> last night.\u00a0 This Diggnation meets Prime Time event was pretty fun. Complete with beer getting poured on Kevin’s brand new laptop.\u00a0 I’d say he handled it pretty well.\u00a0 Me?\u00a0 I probably would have downed the beer and smashed the glass over his head… ok, I’m a nerd, there is no way the glass would break.\u00a0 Also, they started something called the Bryan Brinkman<\/a> Expermient, in attempt to get someone more twitter follows then Barack Obama<\/a>.\u00a0 I doubt it will work, but damn, talk about instant fame for Bryan!\u00a0 So, follow him up, see if Barack can be taken down!<\/p>\n
